Ian is a specialist industry researcher with expertise in data analysis and strategy development. He is responsible for analysing tourism trends and experiences, deciphering and gathering the necessary insights for tourism research at Repucon. He is also responsible for identifying new data collections and models that can deliver high value business intelligence and contribute to strategy development for Repucon clients. A Scottish native, Ian moved to Ireland in 2000 with a leading engineering consultancy working on the procurement of national infrastructure projects.
Ian has worked with several clients in both the public and private sector across the UK and Ireland in areas of market research, visitor experience modelling and strategy implementation. He is experienced in undertaking economic impact assessments across a number of sectors.
His experience ranges across a variety of bodies from community, industry and national organisations. During the past 5 years Ian has advised on experience engineering for sport tourism activity and through his research has created unforgettable memories as part of the event experience.
