Cycling Ireland launch Five Year Strategy.
Cycling Ireland, the national governing body for cycling, launched the new strategic plan for cycling 2020 to 2024. The plan developed by Repucon Consulting is focused on ‘a new vision for cycling in Ireland, an island enriched by cycling’.
The plan maps out the sport’s vision from grass roots to elite level and encompasses cycling activity across all disciplines, from road, off road to track and BMX. The plan addresses both competitive and leisure cycling segments. The plan launched by Cycling Ireland establishes three pillars for strategic development; participation, performance and creating the enabling conditions for investment in the development of cycling across the island of Ireland.
