Repucon Consulting were commissioned by Killarney Chamber and Tourism Council (KCTC) to undertake visitor sentiment analysis to review visitor attitudes and destination satisfaction.
Repucon Consulting conducted 500 one on one interviews with visitors to Killarney across a range of sampling points in the destination. The sentiment research was based on assessing key annual performance measurement areas from visitor satisfaction to future destination development.
The Visitor Sentiment Study delivered a real time analysis of visitor attitudes to Killarney, the impact of tourism on the wider region in addition to measuring visitor sentiment on the safety of the destination in the context of the current Covid 19 environment. The Visitor Sentiment Study was a continuation of previous research conducted by KCTC allowing the destination to track visitor satisfaction.
