Sport Tourism – Project Resurgence Rolls Out
Repucon Consulting is delighted to be part of the Sport Tourism Project Resurgence. It has seen the hosting of a number of sport tourism events in some key destinations. The 2022 project started in Clifden, Connemara with the ŠKODA Tour de Conamara and moved to Ennis in July for the ŠKODA Ring of Clare Cycle. Between the two events it will bring 6,000 cyclists to the host towns and the steps back to tourism recovery with sport tourism activity a key part of the plan. The events are delivered with ŠKODA, one of the leading partners to major cycling events internationally. The ŠKODA Tour de Conamara welcomed cyclists from 12 different countries.
