Thoroughbred Country Plan Launched
The Failte Ireland Thoroughbred Country Destination and Experience Development Plan was launched today. It represents a huge tourism opportunity Kildare and Tipperary. Repucon Consulting developed the plan following industry and stakeholder engagement to create a significant international tourism opportunity. Everything from the behind the scenes experiences to meeting the people that make the horse racing industry so unique and central to Irish culture is featured here. Not many sports can deliver this level of ‘up close’ experiences. Brilliant group behind it from the Ireland’s Ancient East Fáilte Ireland team, Kildare and Tipperary County Councils and thoroughbred industry group led by Cathal Beale of the National Stud.
